Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Pimo Games (“Pimo Games”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an independent game studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit pimogames.com (the “Website”) or play our games, including Prizma (the “Games”, and together with the Website, the “Services”), why we handle it, and the choices and rights you have.

  1. 1. Summary

    Our Games do not require an account with us, and we do not run servers that receive information about you or your device. If you use Google Play Games, Prizma keeps a copy of your progress in your own Google account. Google handles that data, as described below.

    Prizma is free to play and shows ads in its Classic mode, served by Google AdMob. To show ads, Google collects some information from your device, such as its advertising ID. Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Prizma asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in the Game’s settings. The “Advertising” section below explains this in detail.

    The Website does not use advertising tools. If you select “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Website. If you select “Decline”, no analytics code is loaded. Otherwise, the only personal data we may hold about you is what you send us when you contact us by email.

  2. 2. Information in our Games

    Prizma stores your progress, scores, streaks, settings and preferences on your device. We do not have access to them, and they are removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data.

    We have turned off the hardware statistics and engine diagnostics that the Unity game engine can send by default, so the Game does not send this information to Unity or to us.

  3. 3. Google Play Games

    On Android, Prizma supports Google Play Games, a service provided by Google. If your device has a Google Play Games profile, Google signs you in when the Game starts, according to the automatic sign-in choice in your Play Games settings. If you have no profile or that choice is off, you can connect from the Game’s settings. If you do not, nothing is sent.

    While you are signed in, Prizma uses Google Play Games Saved Games to keep a copy of your progress (levels, stars, daily puzzle streak and results, statistics and theme) and your best scores in your own Google account, so they come back when you reinstall the Game or move to a new device. Prizma reads the player name that Google Play Games shows, to display it in the Game’s settings. It does not receive your email address.

    While you are signed in, Prizma also sends the score of each Classic game to a Google Play Games leaderboard. The leaderboard shows your Play Games player name and your best score to other players, according to the profile visibility you choose in your Play Games settings. Prizma reads the top scores and your own rank from Google Play Games to show them in the Game.

    This data is stored and processed by Google under Google’s privacy policy and never reaches a server of ours. The Google Play Games software also collects analytics and diagnostics to keep Google’s service stable; Google describes this in its Play Games data collection notice. You can delete the saved game or your Google Play Games data from the Play Games app’s settings or your Google account.

  4. 4. Advertising

    Prizma shows ads only in its Classic mode. There are two kinds: a full-screen ad that may appear between games, never during one, and a rewarded video that you can choose to watch to continue a game once after it ends. Watching the rewarded video is always optional. The Adventure and Daily modes do not show ads. If your device is offline, no ads are requested.

    The ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google. To deliver ads, the Google Mobile Ads software in the Game collects information directly from your device and sends it to Google. This includes your device’s advertising ID (and, on newer versions of Android, the Privacy Sandbox advertising features), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, information about your device and the Game (such as the device model, operating system, language and app version), and how you interact with ads (for example, which ads were shown or tapped, and diagnostic information).

    Google uses this information to show and measure ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to prevent fraud and abuse, and, where you allow it, to personalize the ads you see based on your interests. This information goes to Google, not to us. We only see aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown in the Game, which do not identify you.

    If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Prizma shows Google’s consent message before any ads are requested. You can choose “Consent”, “Do not consent” or “Manage options”. Our legal basis for personalized advertising is your consent. If you do not consent, Google may still show ads that are not personalized, which rely on less information, as Google describes in its policies.

    If you live in a US state with a privacy law that gives you this right, you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising.

    You can change your choice at any time in the Game: open Settings and choose “Ad privacy”. This option appears where the law gives you this choice. You can also reset or delete your device’s advertising ID, or turn off ads personalization, in your device settings (on most Android devices, under Settings, Google, Ads).

    Google’s use of this information is described in Google’s privacy policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can manage the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center. Google chooses the individual ads. We block some sensitive categories of ads in the Game, including references to sex, dating, real-money gambling, alcohol, politics and religion, but we do not review individual ads.

  5. 5. Device permissions

    Depending on your device and operating system, Prizma may ask for or use the following permissions:

    • Notifications: to show an optional daily puzzle reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and you can turn them off at any time in the Game or in your device settings.
    • Run at startup (Android): to restore your reminder after your device restarts.
    • Vibration: to provide haptic feedback, which you can turn off in the Game settings.
    • Internet and network access (Android): used by Google AdMob to request and show ads, and by Google Play Games to sign you in, to back up your progress and to show the leaderboard, if you use it. Prizma does not use them to send any data to us.
    • Advertising ID (Android): used by Google AdMob to show and measure ads, and to personalize them where you allow it. You can reset or delete it in your device settings.
  6. 6. Sharing your results

    If you choose to share a result, Prizma opens your device’s share sheet. You decide what to share and with whom. The shared content is handled by the app you choose and is subject to that app’s privacy policy.

  7. 7. App stores

    Our Games are distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. When you download a Game, the store operator processes your information under its own privacy policy. The stores may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as download numbers and crash rates, which do not identify you.

  8. 8. Information on our Website

    You can browse the Website without creating an account or giving us any personal data.

    When you visit the Website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your request, in order to deliver the Website and keep it secure. This information is kept in server logs for a limited period and is not used to identify you.

  9. 9. Website analytics

    Only if you select “Accept” in the cookie banner, the Website loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, services provided by Google. They tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Website, and what type of device, browser and approximate location (country or city, never your exact location) they use. We use this only to improve the Website.

    Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned off advertising features, Google signals and data sharing for advertising, so this information is not used to show you ads. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

    Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; we then stop measuring and delete the analytics cookies. For more information, see Google’s explanation of how it uses information from sites that use its services.

  10. 10. Cookies

    Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

    The Website uses two strictly necessary cookies. “pimo_cookie_consent” remembers your cookie choice for 12 months. “NEXT_LOCALE” remembers the language you choose, and is only set if it differs from your browser’s language; it is deleted when you close your browser. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.

    If you select “Accept”, Google Analytics also sets the optional analytics cookies “_ga” and “_ga_<ID>”, which distinguish visits for up to 2 years. They are never set if you select “Decline” or make no choice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, and you can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

  11. 11. When you contact us

    If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to you and handle your request, based on our legitimate interest in answering your message. We keep this correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and then delete it.

  12. 12. Sharing of information

    We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data for money. We only share information with service providers that help us run the Services, such as our hosting and email providers and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google as our analytics provider, where they need it to provide their service to us, or where we are required to do so by law.

    When Prizma shows ads, Google AdMob collects information directly from your device, as described in “Advertising”. Under some US state laws, this may be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in that section.

  13. 13. Children

    Prizma is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not collect personal data through our Games. Prizma’s ads are provided by Google AdMob, and Google Play Games by Google, each under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, please contact us and we will delete it.

  14. 14. Your rights

    Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to:

    • access the personal data we hold about you;
    • ask us to correct or delete it;
    • object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy of it in a portable format;
    • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent, including consent to personalized ads;
    • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising;
    • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  15. 15. Exercising your rights

    To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

    We do not hold the information that Google collects to show ads. To change your ad choices, use “Ad privacy” in the Game’s settings or your device’s ad settings, as described in “Advertising”. For the information Google holds about you, use the tools in your Google Account.

  16. 16. Security and international transfers

    We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we handle. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

  17. 17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make significant changes, we will make this clear on the Website or in the Game before they take effect.
