Pimo Games (“Pimo Games”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an independent game studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit pimogames.com (the “Website”) or play our games, including PRIZMA (the “Games”, and together with the Website, the “Services”), why we handle it, and the choices and rights you have.

  1. 1. Summary

    Our Games do not collect personal data, do not require an account and do not send information about you or your device to us or to third parties.

    The Website does not use analytics or advertising tools. The only personal data we may hold about you is what you send us when you contact us by email.

    If this ever changes, for example if we add advertising to a Game, we will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect.

  2. 2. Information in our Games

    PRIZMA is designed to work entirely on your device. Your progress, scores, streaks, settings and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to them, and they are removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data.

    We have turned off the hardware statistics and engine diagnostics that the Unity game engine can send by default, so the Game does not send this information to Unity or to us.

  3. 3. Device permissions

    Depending on your device and operating system, PRIZMA may ask for or use the following permissions:

    • Notifications: to show an optional daily puzzle reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and you can turn them off at any time in the Game or in your device settings.
    • Run at startup (Android): to restore your reminder after your device restarts.
    • Vibration: to provide haptic feedback, which you can turn off in the Game settings.
    • Internet and network access (Android): these permissions are included by the Unity game engine. PRIZMA does not currently use them to send any data to us or to third parties.

  4. 4. Sharing your results

    If you choose to share a result, PRIZMA opens your device’s share sheet. You decide what to share and with whom. The shared content is handled by the app you choose and is subject to that app’s privacy policy.

  5. 5. App stores

    Our Games are distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. When you download a Game, the store operator processes your information under its own privacy policy. The stores may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as download numbers and crash rates, which do not identify you.

  6. 6. Information on our Website

    You can browse the Website without creating an account or giving us any personal data.

    When you visit the Website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your request, in order to deliver the Website and keep it secure. This information is kept in server logs for a limited period and is not used to identify you.

  7. 7. Cookies

    Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

    The Website uses one strictly necessary cookie, “pimo_cookie_consent”, which remembers your cookie choice for 12 months. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.

    We do not currently use optional cookies. If we introduce optional cookies, such as analytics cookies, we will only set them after you select “Accept”. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, and you can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

  8. 8. When you contact us

    If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to you and handle your request, based on our legitimate interest in answering your message. We keep this correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and then delete it.

  9. 9. Sharing of information

    We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We only share information with service providers that help us run the Services, such as our hosting and email providers, where they need it to provide their service to us, or where we are required to do so by law.

  10. 10. Children

    Our Games are suitable for a general audience. Because the Games do not collect personal data, they do not collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, please contact us and we will delete it.

  11. 11. Your rights

    Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Türkiye or California, you may have the right to:

    • access the personal data we hold about you;
    • ask us to correct or delete it;
    • object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy of it in a portable format;
    • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
    • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

    To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

  13. 13. Security and international transfers

    We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we handle. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

  14. 14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make significant changes, we will make this clear on the Website or in the Game before they take effect.
